Whereas the cause of Siragusa’s death still isn't known, he received CPR at home. After emergency medical services and police officers arrived on the scene, he was declared dead. His father died of a heart attack at the age of 48. Tony, then 21 years old, performed CPR on his father.

Tony Siragusa's professional career

Siragusa entered the NFL in 1990, signing with Indianapolis Colts. He played 96 games for the team between 1990 and 1996, before the joining Baltimore Ravens. In the Ravens' defeat of the New York Giants in 2001, Siragusa played an instrumental role.

Siragusa went to the David Brearley High School in New Jersey, where he played football and wrestled. He later went to the University of Pittsburgh and played football for the Pittsburgh Panthers.
