Mackenzie began his career in 1996 and has since been featured in several movies. His very first role was in a movie in 1996 dubbed “The Man Who Fell in Love with a Traffic Cone”. In 1998, he again appeared in the Channel 4 sketch show Barking.

Crook became famous after playing the role of Gareth Keenan in Ricky Gervais/Stephen Merchant’s popular mockumentary “The Office”. He won the role and went ahead to earn BAFTA nominations for his hard work.
