Anne Heche is an American actress and director who came to recognition portraying Vicky Hudson and Marley Love in the soap opera Another World.

Who is Anne Heche’s mother Nancy Heche?

Anne Heche was born on May 25, 1969, in Aurora, Ohio. She was born the youngest of five children of Nancy Heche and Donald Joseph Heche.

Her mother, born Nancy Abigail Baker Prickett, is an activist. She was raised in Indiana and attended a Methodist church. She later met her husband, Donald Joe Heche, in high school.

The family moved a total of eleven times and during the 1960s and 1970s, they belonged to a fundamentalist church and lived in an Amish settlement.

In 1983, Donald died from AIDS. Due to this, she became aware that her husband had been leading a double life as a homosexual.

Following his death, she has since become a Christian therapist and motivational speaker. She lectures on behalf of James Dobson’s Focus on the Family about “overcoming homosexuality”.

Her belief is that homosexuality is a sin and that through faith in Jesus Christ people can change their sexual orientation. However, she notes that she is not attempting to “convert” gays.
