Her parents, Arnetta Yardbourgh and Shaquille O’Neal welcomed her into the world in Orlando, Florida, in the United States. Her father is a well-known former NBA player who is better known by his stage name Shaq. Her mother is a well-known entrepreneur and philanthropist. The four-year marriage of Taahirah’s parents came to an end in 1996.

Shareef, Shaqir, Me’arah, and Amirah are the four half-siblings that Shaq’s daughter has from her father’s union with Shaunie Henderson. Myles B. is her stepbrother as well.
